Hi there, I'm Alana Manning. I have extensive experience in digital design, having worked as a web designer within digital agencies in Sydney, Berlin and Melbourne, before moving into a senior UX/UI role at Blackmagic Design, where I spent 9 years designing software used by editors and colourists worldwide. That work earned multiple international design awards, including Red Dot, iF Design, and the German Design Award. I specialise in making complex ideas feel clear, intuitive, and easy to navigate.
More recently, I completed a Diploma of Visual Arts, deepening my interest in colour, composition, and painting. I share this because my work sits at the intersection of problem-solving and creativity, blending the strategic thinking with the joy of making something beautiful and pleasurable to use.
